After graduating cum laude from Louisiana State University in Shreveport, Kate Anthony earned her Masters degree in Physician Assistant Studies from LSUHSC-Shreveport School of Allied Health in 2013. Upon graduation, she was inducted into the Alpha Eta Honor Society as well as the Pi Alpha National Honor Society for Physician Assistants. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and is licensed by the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners (LSBME).

Kate has a passion for both people and medicine, which makes her a thorough practitioner who is dedicated to her patients and their healthcare needs. In addition to her patients, she is also dedicated to students and volunteers her time at/through the LSUHSC Physician Assistant program to serve as a teacher as well as a preceptor for/to students. She has also served on the board for the Northwest Louisiana Association of Physician Assistants (NWLAPA).

In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, gardening, sewing, and woodworking, in addition to traveling to different cities across the U.S. Kate is a native of Lafayette, LA, but has made Shreveport her home for well over a decade. In 2017, she married her husband, Wesley, a Shreveport native, who she met on a blind date through another ROS employee. They are the proud parents of two cats, Ciroc and Stitch.
